I offer beginner-friendly piano and violin lessons in the Stafford area, with a particular focus on welcoming home-educated children.

I'm a pianist and violinist with a degree in Music and Psychology, and my experience goes beyond the classroom. I have led and co-led amateur orchestras on the violin, and worked as a piano accompanist for undergraduate degree recitals - so I bring a real depth of musical experience to every lesson. 

I love helping children build confidence as they take their first steps in music, developing good foundations while learning at a pace that suits them. I also welcome children who already play a little and want to continue their musical journey.

Music is about so much more than notes on a page. It builds confidence, patience, and creativity - and as children progress, it opens doors to wonderful social experiences, whether that's joining an ensemble, performing for others, or simply sharing something they love. That's something I feel passionately about, having experienced it first-hand throughout my own musical life.

Lessons are available Monday to Friday between 9am and 3pm during term time, either at my home or at your home locally. As a parent myself, I understand how busy family life can be, and I try to make everything as easy and welcoming as possible from the very first contact.

To help you get started, I offer a half-price introductory lesson so your child can get a feel for learning with me before committing to regular sessions. 

For your peace of mind, I hold an Enhanced DBS check and Public Liability insurance. My teaching practise is backed by the Independent Society of Musicians (ISM), ensuring verified qualifications and full safeguarding compliance.
